Dance By Myself

Guest post written by my buddy Keith Kramer

There’s not much to do in Kansas City, so I’ve taken it upon myself to take up dance. It’s one of the few activities I don’t need much equipment for and I can practice pretty much anywhere. The only problem is that it’s too cold outside in the winter to work, so I’m trying to talk my dad into finishing the garage so I can do my routines in there where it’s heated. We’ll see!

The other day I came across one of those offers for clear wireless internet 4g and quickly signed up using my allowance and I think I’m just going to use YouTube to look up dance instruction videos. There aren’t really any teachers near my house anyway, so I figure I could save some money just by teaching myself some moves here at home. If I get good enough, I may even start offering lessons to the little kids in my neighborhood – it would sure beat babysitting! Maybe when I go off to college I’ll find a dance troop I can be a part of, but until then, it’s practice for me.
